About Me

Hello, I'm Robert and I run The Silly Shutter. My fiance asked (and you might be wondering) why I put a picture of the both of us on here since I am the one running it. Well simply, it's because I wouldn't have started The Silly Shutter without her support. In fact, she might even show up to help me at some of the events.

I like to live simple and have fun. I enjoy spending time with family, walking my dogs, being outdoors, and eating anything and everything. I also love taking pictures. I've been shooting for about 5 years now and I definitely don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I took my first photography class in high school, but even though I found it interesting, I didn't pursue it right away. It wasn't until about 5 years later that I decided to buy my first digital camera (a Nikon D50). My only regret now is not buying one sooner.

Although I've photographed a lot of different things in the past, my main focus now is on The Silly Shutter photo booth. I found that there's nothing cooler than capturing moments of people letting loose and having fun. Whether it's your 90 year old grandmother or 3 year old nephew, those moments will forever be priceless. The Silly Shutter sets a stage for the opportunities and although they're not candid, the photos are still really cool. :)

Above all, I want to thank you very much for checking out my site and showing even the slightest interest in what I love to do. Honestly, if it wasn't for you there would be no Silly Shutter Booth. It's the people who make the The Silly Shutter what it is... Silly. If you have any questions about me or just curious about the booth and how it works, etc. feel free to contact me..

Thanks a lot and hope to hear from you soon :)
